Moms (and Dads)

Sometimes through all the chaos surrounding the little bundle of joy, we forget that it is just as important to nurture ourselves.  There are a number of programs dedicated to nurturing the nurturers in Squamish and the surrounding communities:

Workshops & Educational Sessions

Bringing Baby Home
Based on research of John Gottman, this 2-day FREE workshop for couples expecting or with children up to 3 yrs works on strengthening the parental relationship. Couples learn what to expect during transition to parenthood, how to strengthen friendship, intimacy, build a strong family foundation, how to regulate conflict, how to co-parent and understand postpartum blues and depression, as well as create a plan to keep Dad in involved, and learn about child development! Non-mobile babies are welcome, and snacks are provided. BBH.Squamish@gmail.com, or visit the Bringing Baby Home Facebook Page for pre-registration and upcoming workshops.

FRESH Families
Formerly Sea to Sky Family Drop-in, F.R.E.S.H. (Fun-Recreation-Education-Socialization-Health) hosts educational sessions for parents and families every Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Early Learning Centre through SSCS.
