Last week after dropping big sister off at school, I spent 30 minutes sitting on the side of a ditch watching a train shunt with my 2 year old.
I was simply happy that she was silent for longer than 3 minutes. She on the other hand, was entirely fascinated. The driver made her (and my) day when he waved at her – she could not stop talking about it for days.
At 5 and 2 (almost 3) – both of my kids have been MASSIVE fans of Thomas. There seems to be this magical age where trains are absolutely captivating. By far the most well-loved toy in our house that has stood the test of time has been our Thomas electric train set I scored at a garage sale almost 4 years ago for $20. #momwin
